Edison is the pet tortoise of Sam Gardner. At the end of Season 4, his guardian, Zahid, will look after him, since Sam will be away with his father at Antarctica for about a year. In season 4, the characters of Atypical including Sam Gardener, himself, call Edison a turtle.
