Sharice is a character introduced in Season 1 of Atypical. She is a fellow track team member and she is a childhood best friend of Casey. Sharice is portrayed by actress Christina Offley.
Biography[]
Sharice attends Newton High School, and she is on the track team in Season 1. In the episode "A Human Female", she is shown to be close friends with Casey Gardner, as she gets visibly upset when she hears Casey may have a boyfriend, without mentioning it to her.
In the episode "The D-Train to Bone Town", Sharice sides with the track team against Casey, when they all find out that she is transferring to Clayton Prep by playing a joke on her and stealing her clothes when she is trying on a dress at a clothing store. It is implied that Sharice doesn't want to do this, because she apologizes to Casey before taking her clothes. They make up and stay friends eventually. However, in Season 2, Sharice and Casey make up and stay friends. In the episode "Penguin Cam and Chill", she is shown to be comforting Casey with Evan after her first day at Clayton Prep. In the episode "Ritual-licious", furthermore, she later makes an appearance at Casey's birthday party, where she is seen dancing with her other friends and with Beth Chapin.
In the episode "Sam Takes a Walk" of Season 3, Sharice is comforting Casey, who is upset that she felt cheated about a drunken Izzie kissing a random guy at a party when Casey and Izzie are both already in a romantic relationship. Sharice stays with Casey at her house throughout the night until Casey gets better.
In the episode "Dessert at Olive Garden" of Season 4, Sharice's final appearance is when she welcomes back Casey at Newton High School from Clayton Prep. Sharice is happy to be reunited with her childhood best friend, whom she misses very deeply.
